Armand Morin's Facebook Ads Secret Training Review

Finally cut it short again. Note, got the AI tag a Finally cut it short again. Note, got the AI tag and laughed. I showed a friend how AI has improved and changed the guitar on the wall. There's actually a white Thunderbird Bass there. lol
Yesterday's mission took things a step further. To Yesterday's mission took things a step further. To get to where I normally start my walk, I travel three blocks up Houston St. to the Rand Building, where my co-working space is located. That was today's goal, but I wasn't sure how far I could make it. I decided to break it into chunks, and could turn back if I felt I was pushing myself too hard.

First, I walked a long block up past the Alameda Theater to the new San Pedro Creek Park. Mission accomplished. My biggest concern along that walk was dealing with some predatory eyes along the way. Like it or not, people are being analyzed and sized up. And for the first time, I felt a little vulnerable.

Step two, I walked the next block past the Frost Tower. No problem, but as I crossed the street to City Hall, I was a little tired and leaned up against the building for a moment. I was close.

For the final leg, I walked past City Hall and crossed the street to the Rand Building. I now had four food options, but opted to go upstairs to Geekdom for a bit to read and make a phone call. (That's where the photo was taken).

Phone calls are another thing. I make few of them. They take a surprising amount of energy, so I use them very carefully. After a little time upstairs at Geekdom, I came down and opted for a quick dinner at Chick-fil-A. After that, I began the walk home.

Although I could stop and rest along the way, this time I knew my destination was home. I was tired when I got there, but not out of breath. More importantly, I came home knowing I could make it to my coworking space and back.

In the past, this was just the beginning of a normal walk. Yesterday, it was the destination.

I wasn't trying to set a record. I was trying to learn what was possible.

In an odd way, it felt huge.
Today was about stepping out again. I wanted to we Today was about stepping out again. I wanted to wear my 'normal' clothes rather than pajamas. I wanted to go somewhere just to get out of the house, to be a guy outside rather than a recovering open-heart surgery patient.

I'd say mission accomplished. It took breaking getting ready into little chunks. It felt odd feeling a t-shirt against my sternum. I hadn't worn jeans in a month. Or a belt. Or my hat.

Cafe Alameda is just okay. But it was walkable. I had my lunch. I was surrounded by locals all speaking Spanish. I was there. I read my book. I walked back across the street and made it safely home. I'd call it a successful mission.
